Do you love dogs and would really love to have one? But your living situation is not suited for a dog?
Here is your opportunity to play with any or all the dogs in the kennel. Even Seniors live here and they definitely deserve attention too, wouldn't you agree? Or maybe you are considering a puppy and you are wondering if you can handle one? Why not mix all this with a time around a firepit?
Jassa's kennel visit - Seniors left behind
Come by our kennel to meet the dogs. We do have seniors here and they deserve a good cuddle after all that they have done in their life. They are also constantly left behind at home while the others head for a run.
We do have visit for longer duration where you can choose to do som activities. We have one kayak that can be used in the lake with room for a dog. We can go hiking around the lake. Pick som berries along the way (There are usually raspberries, blueberries, lingonberries, juniper berries, or cloudberries), or I have som fun games you can play with the dogs. We can start a campfire, make some proper food, have some bread on a stick, drinks and maybe some homemade cookies.

Puppy time - Activities with the little once.
Are you wondering if you want to get a puppy? Or maybe you just can't have a puppy because of your living situation?
The first months and the first year of a puppy's life are important because that is when they easily learn and get their behavior set for the rest of their life with good training as a puppy you will prepare them for situations they will meet in the future.
Here is your opportunity to play, cuddle, walk, and train with a puppy depending on their age. To help them gain trust and confidence in anything they would experience in life. We have a baby pool for the really small ones, or vi could head for the lake and take a swim there. We do have one fishing kayak that can be used as well. We can go for a walk around the lake, depending on the season we can pick berries too. There are usually raspberries, blueberries, lingonberries, juniper berries, or cloudberries around the lake. We can do some really fun games with the puppies or train some core/balancing skills. I will be around to answer any questions you might have and guide you through. We'll make a campfire and have some bread on a stick, homemade cookies, and something to drink. Keep in mind this is season based and is of course only optional when we have puppies.

Leloo's hiking boots - A hike to høgkampen
Your own husky friend for a day to help you to the wonderful destination Høgkampvannet. Which will give you a great view. A hike to Spåtind (longer trip) only on request. We can take a group of maximum 8 people.
We will offer homemade food and cookies and drink at the top, if you are picky about your food i recommed bringing something you like. Remember to bring water for your hike up the hill. This tour requires an average good physical condition.
Duration: It all depends on the group of people and if you want to stay at the kennel for a bit.

Sáphán's jogging shoes
- A hike to the top of Skjervung mountain
Your own husky friend for a hike to help you and support you through the sweat trail and up to the top of Skjervung mountain. This isn't the hardest top to walk to it is easier and shorter than the other one. Perfect for family hikes with kids. You will get a nice view of the surrounding mountain and lakes. maybe even meet some sheep friends. We will offer homemade cookies, and drinks at the top, but you need to bring your own lunch and water bottle. This tour can take up to 8 people.
This tour requires an average conditions.

You need a sleep-over place.
Unfortunately, we don't have a place for you to sleep. Unless you want to sleep in a tent or a hammock.
But we have some recommendations that we can give you that is a lot warmer.
We have some Airbnb around that you could rent. Our musher friend rents out Sandbakken. But there are others. I would look at the once between Bakkebygdi and Fossum. They are the closest to us.
We have a mountain hotel that offers more than Airbnb. The Spåtind hotel/lodge has a slope you can go snowboarding or skiing in. Nice cross-country skiing trails for miles, and a pool you can play in later in the day. But it does take a 40-minute drive from the hotel to me and is the furthest option away.
We do have a closer option that also has a slope you can go skiing or snowboarding in. They also have miles with cross-country skiing trails. The mountain lodge has small cabins you can rent and is only 15-minute drive to my place.
